White Tea | Aged White (Shou Mei)
Name: Shou Mei | Aged White Tea
Origin: Fuding, Fujian, China
Smooth, floral, buttery.
This is a sensational, aged, seasonal white tea which can produce five healthy steepings. The aromas that evolve through the steepings resemble prunes, black cherry, tasty adzuki bean buns and buttery sweet raisin bread.
The tea is a light golden amber and feels smooth and full-bodied but draws in to finish as a little tannic pouch in the center of your tongue, which changes over time to soft delicate finishes as the steeps progress. This works well as a lasting and delicious dessert.
